Kathleen O'Connor is President & Founder of Achieve Accreditation. She is proud to be celebrating her 35-year career anniversary in accreditation. She worked for nearly a decade at The Joint Commission and has spent a combined total of 35-years guiding assisted living communities and skilled nursing providers with accreditation. Kathleen's career at The Joint Commission included: participating in the development of the standards and survey process, participating in the training of Joint Commission surveyors, and lecturing nationally on accreditation. As a highly regarded accreditation readiness expert, Kathleen participates in frequent speaking engagements at the individual states and national level. She holds a bachelor's degree in Health Care Management and a master's degree in Gerontology. Kathleen's most enjoyable part of working at Achieve Accreditation is watching a concept that was just "an idea" 35 years ago turn into a business mission that has the privilege to help make a difference in the senior living industry. Kathleen enjoys hiking, yoga, traveling, and spending time with her family and friends.

As Executive Vice President, Kristin Bratcher holds dual roles in providing hands-on accreditation consulting guidance across the continuum of the senior living industry, as well as a focus on business development. She has worked with Achieve Accreditation since 2013. Her passion includes helping client partners grow in addition to achieving successful survey outcomes. Kristin is celebrating her fifteen-year career anniversary in the senior living industry, having previously served in progressive senior living leadership roles. She holds a bachelor’s degree and a master’s degree in Social Work. Her favorite part about working with Achieve Accreditation is beginning the accreditation readiness process with a new client partner and seeing them through to a successful survey. Kristin enjoys spending time with her husband, kids, and three dogs, along with following her favorite sports teams.

As Executive Vice President, Kerri Hackstock holds dual roles in providing hands-on accreditation consulting across the continuum of the senior living industry, as well as a focus on business operations. She has been working with Achieve Accreditation since 2013. Her passions include collaborating with her client partners to make processes easier and more efficient while improving the quality of care. Kerri is celebrating her fifteen-year career anniversary in the senior living industry with previously served multiple years in progressive leadership roles. Her favorite part about working with Achieve Accreditation is the amazing relationships she has built with her client partners and the team. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a master’s degree in Professional Counseling. Kerri enjoys spending time with her husband and two kids and loves a good true crime podcast.

As a Senior Consultant at Achieve Accreditation and Product Improvement Specialist, Gerrianne Hartman holds dual roles in providing hands-on accreditation consulting services in both the skilled nursing and assisted living industries. She has been working with Achieve Accreditation since 2007. Her career passion has always been person-centered care. Gerrianne will soon celebrate her thirty-year career anniversary in the senior living industry while serving twelve of those years in the role of nursing home administrator. She holds a master’s degree in Gerontology and is a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Her favorite thing about working with Achieve Accreditation is when she gets the opportunity to provide resources and suggestions to make a client's job easier, to improve the quality of care, and to assist with Joint Commission standards compliance. Gerrianne enjoys traveling with her family, yoga, gardening, and cheering on Chicago sports teams.

As a Senior Consultant, Suzann Armstrong provides hands-on accreditation consulting services in both the skilled nursing and assisted living industry. She has been working with Achieve Accreditation since 2000. Her career passions include clinical outcome management and quality improvement practices. Suzann is celebrating her thirty-five-year career anniversary in the senior living industry, previously serving over ten of those years in the roles of Director of Nursing and Director of Assisted Living, 30 years as an Infection Preventionist, Executive Safety Committee Chair, and as a QAPI Executive Leader. She holds a Nursing Degree in Applied Science and is a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Her favorite things about working with Achieve Accreditation are the team and the support she receives from client partners. Suzann enjoys sun, sand, and ocean breezes spent with her family.

As a Senior Consultant, Caitlin Jensen provides hands-on accreditation consulting services in both the skilled nursing and assisted living industry. She has been working with Achieve Accreditation since 2016. Her career passion is quality improvement. Caitlin will soon celebrate her ten-year career anniversary in the senior living industry, while previously serving multiple years in the role of nursing home administrator. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and currently remains a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator and a Certified Dementia Practitioner. Her favorite things about working with Achieve Accreditation are the team and the support she receives from client partners. She enjoys spending time with her husband and two cats, Toby (aka The King) and Moose (aka The Bear), and is a foodie loving to try out new restaurants.

As a Senior Consultant and Information Technology Specialist, Arely H. Franco holds dual roles in providing hands-on accreditation consulting services in the skilled nursing industry. She has been working with Achieve Accreditation since 2017. Her career passions include person-centered care and improving the quality of life for residents. Arely is celebrating her ten-year career anniversary in the senior living industry while serving two years as a Memory Care Director. She holds a master’s degree in Social Work and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Her favorite things about working with Achieve Accreditation are the team and the support she receives from client partners. She enjoys being outdoors, traveling with her husband, listening to podcasts, and reading.

As a Senior Consultant and a Staff Training and Development Specialist, Sarah Ocasek holds dual roles in providing hands-on accreditation consulting services in skilled nursing and provides training and ongoing education to the Achieve Accreditation team. She has been working with Achieve Accreditation since 2013. Her career passions are teaching others and relationship building. Sarah is celebrating her thirteen-year career anniversary in the senior living industry, having previously served five years as a Social Service Director. She holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and a master's degree in Community Counseling. Her favorite things about working with Achieve Accreditation are the team and the support she receives from client partners. She enjoys listening to music and playing with her two young daughters.

As a Senior Consultant, Bonny Mundt provides hands-on accreditation consulting services in the skilled nursing industry. She has been working with Achieve Accreditation since 2023. Her career passions include education and process improvement. Bonny is celebrating her fourteen-year career anniversary in the skilled nursing industry, while previously serving multiple years in the role of a nursing home administrator. She holds a master’s degree in Personnel and Human Resources Development, and she currently remains a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator. Her favorite thing about working with Achieve Accreditation is the opportunity to provide support and resources to her client partners. She enjoys practicing yoga and spending time with her husband and two daughters.

As a Senior Consultant, Rebecca DeRousse has been working with Achieve Accreditation since 2022. Rebecca provides hands-on accreditation consulting services in both the skilled nursing and assisted living industry. Her passion includes bringing accreditation awareness to the senior living industry. Rebecca is celebrating her 40-year career anniversary in the senior living industry while serving as both a nursing home administrator and an assisted living administrator in continuing care retirement communities. She holds a master’s degree in Healthcare Administration and Business Administration and is a Certified Nursing Home Administrator. She enjoys spending time with her daughter and making precious memories with her granddaughter.

As a Senior Consultant, Nathan Hutt-Tiwald provides hands-on accreditation consulting services in the skilled nursing industry. He has been working with Achieve Accreditation since 2018. Nathan’s passion for delivering high-quality care and services led him to earn his LNHA and enter the operational side of senior living. He continued his commitment to quality improvement while working for more than 10 years in both skilled nursing and assisted living communities. He was named an American Healthcare Association Future Leader of 2021. Nathan’s favorite thing about working at Achieve Accreditation is being a part of elevating industry standards of care. Nathan is a passionate Bears and Cubs fan. He enjoys spending time with his wife, two young boys, and three senior dogs.

As Operations Manager, Jess Prucha oversees operations including project management, vendor management, client contract management, social media management, human resources management, and brand storytelling. She began working with Achieve Accreditation in 2020. She is excited to be able to use her journalism background in a career that is centered around improving quality and safety for seniors. Jessica holds a bachelor’s degree in Journalism with a minor in Gerontology. Her favorite thing about working with Achieve Accreditation is collaborating with the team and learning new ways to improve Achieve Accreditation. Jessica enjoys yoga and exploring Chicago with her friends.
